Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one-piece smooth walnut. The rear sight is a “V”-notch at the rear of a groove in the top strap. The blade has been mostly covered in black paint. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass blade fixed to the front of the barrel. The backstrap inlet of the grip has “642” hand-written.īarrel Length: The barrel has been cut to 4 3/4″. The rear face of the cylinder is marked “N” and “C”. The rear of the loading gate has assembly number “25”. ![]() The bottom-right of the barrel, under the ejector rod housing, is marked “5710” at the rear, found again marked on the outside of the cylinder (see Our Assessment). The bottom of the frame in front of the trigger guard, the bottom of the trigger guard and the butt of the grip frame are each marked “15711”. The left trigger guard flat is marked “45 CAL”. Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT.
